Right then, we are done with Qualifiers 1 of the ILT20,2025, and now we will be heading towards the next game, where Sharjah Warriorz will try to take on MI Emirates in Zayed Cricket Stadium. The game will be played on Thursday, 6 February and will begin 8 pm IST (2.30 pm GMT), but you can join us a lot sooner for the buildup. Till then, ADIOS!

Gulbadin Naib wins the PLAYER OF THE MATCH and says that this game will surely give him a good boost which is a positive sign, especially just before the finals. Continues that he was a bit lucky sometimes but also it's a part of cricket. States that he enjoyed playing with his skipper Sam Billings but due to Naib's wrong call his skipper had to walk off the park, but other than that, everything went well. Ends up saying that he played a lot of cricket in Dubai and therefore he knocks the track really well which went in his favour.

Sam Billings, the skipper of Dubai Capitals says that he did well to take on Hasaranga. Continues that they were slightly disappointed with the ball and also appreciate the way Alex Hales played. Also says that there is a lot to analysis to do in the squad and also assures that they will comeback even stronger for the finals.

Lockie Ferguson, the skipper of Desert Vipers says that he just pulled his hamstring and it was a tough night for his team. He continues that the dew later in the game made it difficult to grip the delivery. Continues that they had a good total on the board but also stated that no total is safe in T20 cricket and also praised the opposition for the way they chased. Ends up saying that they have to regroup and come back for the next game.

Presentations coming up...

Earlier in the game, the openers, Rossington and Hope gave the Capitals a solid start. Sam Billings' 20-run blitz in the 13th over against Hasaranga turned the tide, despite his run-out. Desert Vipers posted a total of 189 runs on the board.

The Capitals' triumph was largely driven by Gulbadin Naib's outstanding performance with the bat, ball, and on the field. Despite a minor setback when he ran out his skipper, Naib anchored the innings, scoring a crucial half-century. The Capitals' openers, Rossington and Hope, laid a solid foundation with a 50-run stand, while Sam Billings' aggressive 13th over against Hasaranga proved pivotal in shifting the momentum. Ultimately, Sikandar Raza's calm strokeplay sealed the win, sending the Capitals into the finals.

A last-ball thriller and it is the Dubai Capitals who reach the finals of ILT20! Capitals hold their nerves to win a thriller, achieving the highest-ever successful run chase in ILT20 playoffs and reaching the finals for the second time. The Capitals' victory was spearheaded by Gulbadin Naib, who had a dream day with the bat, ball, and on the field. Sikandar Raza hit the winning runs, but Naib was the true hero of the match. This win marks the Capitals' second consecutive finals appearance, after losing in the final last season.
